FAKE WEDDING The longing for perfection. This is what made Foodit Catering and Le Jour Du Oui to join forces and create The Fake Wedding, a concept mixing reality and imaginary in a fictitious wedding in to prove the abilities of these two creative firms when producing a perfect wedding

Sunday May 8, The Fake Wedding, delighted the guests of this “real fake wedding” with a combination of art, music and food in the incomparable frame of Puig Redó. In an incredible villa with views to Formentera and Cala Jondal, under the helm of Salvatore Teodoro, Foodit’s head chef Cristina, Le Jour Du Oui’s wedding planner and Morena Martini, art director of the event, brought The Fake Wedding to live. The ceremony took place from 8pm to midnight with the performances of musicians like the sax player Eric Daniel and the percussionist Giustini and a live painting show by Laura Calafiore. Food was the main highlight thanks to show cooking stands. From the demonstration of how to slowly cook broad bean foam with fried snails, to an array of dishes prepared with truffle at its core, a selection of oysters and salmon and tuna tartars.
