This family-run restaurant opened back in 1992 and has since become a favourite among both locals and international visitors. Situated in the Ses Salinas Nature Reserve, it has a relaxed and wonderfully tranquil atmosphere. The menu is written on large boards that arrive at the tables; the cuisine is Mediterranean with some Asian influences and includes an array of starters, sushi platters, paellas and main dishes. Try the burattina with fresh tomatoes and avocado or the mussels marinara to start; for mains there’s a lobster and clam paella with an abundance of seafood, or select from some of the delicious fresh grilled fish, such as the John Dory, hake or sea bass baked in a crust of coarse salt straight from the neighbouring salt-flats. Many of the dishes follow the original recipes of the family’s grandmother, who used to cook in the kitchen and who left her signature on Spanish classics such as the Boquerones Mami, chicken and cod croquettes and paellas. During weekend lunches guests can enjoy live music while they dine, and the restaurant also caters for a variety of private events. Open all year round.
