The name of the restaurant refers to the way Mateo likes things well done: a culinary experience of the highest level. The place is stunning, an old farm with classic Formenteran architecture, bucolic gardens with cast-iron tables topped with lace table cloths, art from the renowned Italian artist and Mateo’s mother Emanuela Crotti and the star piece, a table located in the centre of their spectacular organic orchard. Try sampling one of their cocktails such as the delicious Bloody Mary elaborated with Empire vodka and tomatoes, beetroot and cucumber from their orchard. Then taste the delicate flavours of their courgette flowers filled with ricotta or the beetroot carpaccio with parmesan and pine nuts followed by a main of Galician grilled meat or homemade pasta with yellow fin tuna tartar and bottarga created by talented chef Francesco Sgaramella and his team. To finish ÏUMAG loves the creations of pastry chef Veronica Valenza including the chocolate mousse and the orange tiramisu.
