Paradise Lost Sa Penya C/ Des Passadis, 14. Ibiza Town Tel. 627.589.205. Paradise Lost Ibiza

Paradise Lost, a rum bar hidden in the intricate streets of the old fishing quarter of Ibiza Town, takes its name from a 17th-century poem by John Milton. The epic prose tells the struggle of temptation in the Garden of Eden, a theme appropriate considering the array of modern temptations here on the island. The name also makes sense when you attempt to find the bar in the winding cobbled streets of Sa Penya or, even better, when you try to find your way home after sampling one or more of its delicious cocktails. It’s run by James Harvey (a famous island face known for working in bars such as Rock Bar, Aura and 1805) and Manumission’s former decor manager Trystan O’Brian. The result is an eccentric and quirky venue with neon lights and a very welcoming feel; its nooks and crooks make it the perfect spot for the winter months. Jim reveals exactly what goes into the bar’s signature drink: Paradise Punch
